These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Homestead Meat Company website (homesteadmeatcompany.com) and any orders you place through it. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

Orders and Pricing

  • All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice.
  • Product weights are approximate. Meat is a natural product, and actual weights may vary slightly from listed amounts.
  • Photos are representative of our products but may not match the exact cut or packaging you receive.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order for any reason, including product availability.
  • Orders are not confirmed until payment is processed successfully.

Payment

  • We accept payment through Stripe (credit and debit cards).
  • Payment is collected at the time of order.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate billing information.

Shipping and Delivery

  • Homestead Meat Company ships perishable goods. Orders are packed with appropriate insulation and ice packs to maintain safe temperatures during transit.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.
  • You are responsible for being available to receive perishable deliveries promptly. Perishable items left unattended are your responsibility once delivered.
  • Delivery windows are estimates and are not guaranteed.
  • Local pickup is available at our store: 2470 State Highway C, Jackson, Missouri 63755.

Returns and Refunds

  • Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns on meat and food items.
  • If you receive a damaged or incorrect order, contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos of the issue. We will work with you to make it right — either by replacing the item or issuing a refund.
  • Refunds for damaged or incorrect items will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
  • We do not offer refunds for change of mind, buyer’s remorse, or failure to refrigerate products upon delivery.

Product Information

  • We make every effort to provide accurate product descriptions, but we do not guarantee that descriptions, photos, or other content on our website are error-free or complete.
  • Nutritional information, if provided, is approximate and should not be relied upon for dietary or medical decisions.
  • Our products may contain allergens. If you have food allergies, please contact us before ordering.

Account Responsibility

  • If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating an account or placing an order.
